Bistro Barrel Aged Festival
Great times as usual at The Bistro’s Barrel Aged Festival for 2009.  Favorite from the day were Lagunitas’ Crusin’ with Ruben & the Bretts on Cherries, Scotch Ale aged in a scotch barrel from Sierra Nevada, and Fifty Fifty’s Imperial Eclipse Stout 2008 on Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel.

It was nice meeting you finally at the festival. I have to say my favorite from the festival was the Drake’s George Brett sour. I have been getting into sour’s more and more lately and this one hit the spot.

Great festival. My vote went to the Schooners Old Woody, although there were a ton of great beers that I might have picked on a different day. Did they ever announce the voting results?
