GABF 2009

Whew.  457 breweries and 2,100 beer later, the Great American Beer Festival really does live up to its name.  I’ll be breaking up my posts into a few different events, but here’s a catch all photo album of photos from the convention floor, Falling Rock, and Great Divide Brewing.   Congrats again to all the Northern California winners.

Favorite new beer tastes: Sgt. Pepper from Cambridge Brewing Co, Vlad the Impaler from Cascade, Guava Saison from Cigar City, Cuvee De Castleton from Captain Lawrence, Cranberry Lambic from New Glarus, Chica from Dog Fish Head and 15th Anniversary Oaked IPA from Great Divide (who sold out before I could bring any home!)

The massive 123 photo set with everything can be seen here.

Good to know someone has the same favorites as me. Cascade’s Vlad the Impaler was my top fave.

I’ve been meaning to tell you this story.

We were getting into our car at our apartment building and one of our neighbors walked by. He says, Hey, did you guys just go to a beer festival? We say, yes. He says, In Colorado? We say, yes. He says, So you just went to a beer festival in Colorado? Like this past week? And we say, yes.

Turns out he reads your blog and saw our photo :-)
