    City Beer Rocks!!!!

I love Craig & Beth! They always have great suggestions for the beer novice that I am. And their store is just fantastic! Again, for a novice, the ability to try various beers and not have to buy an entire 6-pack that you are unsure you’ll love is just… well… brilliant :)

Healthy Spirits, over on Fifteenth and Castro. Dudes are super-friendly and their selection always seems more exciting and varied than City Beer Store (though they apparently have the same buyer). Also: neither crowded nor loud. Ever.

I love the city beer store. I also love my WFM because I am the beer buyer and I get to bring in a lot of what I want the people to have. Healthy Spirits is cool too, but city beer is tops in my book. I do spend too much monery there when I go (every Friday)

I love City Beer, especially the fact that they stored a bunch of files in their microwave the last time I was there. Unfortunately, it’s a bit of a haul from San Jose, so I’ll have to setle for the BevMo’s or Whole Foods in the South Bay, or tired looking Wine Rack on the corner Cahalan and Santa Teresa, which has a decent beer selection, despite appearences.

Awesome pics – I love City Beer Store – they are a very welcome addition to the beer scene and such great owners. The Jug Shop and City Beer Store are pretty much my best bets for good beer. My old local, Coit Liquor, unfortuntly closed down. Oh well – I will travel for good beer.

Been to City Beer Store once and it was great, despite losing my digital camera. When you have the selection they have plus on premise drinking AND taps, well, that’s pretty amazing.

My local shop is Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa. I love it as well.

City Beer looks great, hopefully I can make it out there sometime. If you get to New York, my bottle shops are Bierkraft (in Brooklyn), American Beer Distributor (in Brooklyn), and Whole Foods at Bowery (Manhattan).
