So, we’re happy to present this menu that both saves the environment and  leaves you full, featuring a San Francisco summer menu from house chef Anthony Myint, paired with craft canned beer. Nothing on the menu is over ten dollars.  This menu highlights locals who love what they do.

This Saturday, July 25th, why don’t you stop by for dinner?

Team Mission Street Food: we’ve got a great menu from designed in collaboration with Anthony, Karen and the whole team at Mission Street Food. It’s seasonal, stylish, delicious food, specifically crafted to go with the beer.  I secretly love it when there’s no guest chef, and the home team at Mission Street Food has the stage to themselves.

And then there’s the beer:  First of all, canned beer is the green choice. Canned beer is also serious craft beer.  All of our beers are from small to medium craft breweries, run by dedicated craftsmen to care most that the beer tastes good. For example, this is how Uncommon Brewers feel about their fermenter:

How committed is this organic Santa Cruz brewery?  All of their hand canned 16oz tall boy beers are brewed using fresh local well water – because tap simply wouldn’t do.

Want to drink local? 21st Amendment is your backyard brewing west coast staples and original fruit wheats – both featured tonight.

In the usual MSF style, we’ll be supporting a local charity.  We’re proud (with the very generous help of the breweries involved!) to support Marlene Guerrero, who makes sandwiches for homeless people and distributes them under bridges and at bus stops. Marlene partners with organizations that are also reaching out to the homeless but the majority of the money comes out of her own pocket. She loves the experience of giving to her community and getting to know people in the process. She gives out 200 meals twice a month and is trying to expand her program to once a week. We’ll donate our profits from this night to support her efforts.
