Yesterday morning, I arrived at my desk to find that the Bacon Fairy (who turns out to be Cory!  Thanks Cory!) had left a present on my desk.

 

 

These suspiciously foul smelling mints combined two of my favorite things: bacon, and things that should never be paired with bacon.  I immediately sent an email out to my office with an enthusiastic pitch inviting my coworkers to come and experience the joys of bacon mints for themselves. 

Their reactions were… less than enthusiastic when they tasted them.  They can best be described as tasting like “smoked band-aids.  and not in a good way.” 

 

   

Seana (far right in the last photo here, about to break into dry heaving,) described them thusly:

“This is sad because I really do love bacon…this stuff just tasted like someone made a delicious batch of bacon then threw the bacon in a trash, pulled out a fresh band aid and sauted it in the burnt bacon grease. On a positive note, its aftertaste was much more pleasant and bacony!”
